The Tour

I don’t know if this is very well known, but Joe is partially based on Ben Seccombe, a friend of mine from high school. I just got an email from Ben, who is now in New York attending film school. He sent me a link to a video he directed, and I think it’s hil-ar-ious! Check it out.

Ben plays David, the guy in the red jacket.

For Serious.

I can’t believe the Packers are doing this to one of the greatest quaterbacks in history. Before this I didn’t like the Packers out of regional dislike. Now I really think the Packers suck.

Audiobooks

When I draw comics I like to have a DVD or music playing so I can listen to something so I don’t get completely bored. However, this can be distracting, especially if I’m playing a DVD that I’ve never seen before. I end up spending a lot of time looking up from my work to watch the movie or TV show.

Lately, however, I’ve gotten into listening to audiobooks. That way I have something interesting to listen to that I don’t have to worry about watching. I was worried that I would end up spending a lot of money on audiobooks, or having to travel to the library constantly to pick up new books. Then I found something AWESOME. LibriVox. It’s an online database of audiobooks that are in the public domain. This suits me fine because I love classics (as seen by the latest storyline).

I’m currently going through The Odyssey. This is great.

References

July 3rd’s comic references an older comic. I’m not going to tell you which one, you’re just going to have to find out on your own.
