Some of you who visited the site between 3am to 3:40am might notice that the comic displayed now is a different comic. That’s because I wanted to sync up the GoComics site (which is a week ahead of JoeandMonkey.com) with this one so I can talk about the MLB post season. However, I forgot that in JaM.com continuity Monkey isn’t talking yet. So I had to put that idea back in it’s box. Next week prepare for comics about baseball that will seem a week late.
In other news, I just completed the prototype for the Kleptobot action figure. It looks AWESOME! They’ll be on sale late October to early November in time for Christmas.
And coming up later this week is Fallcon! Visit me there and buy books and original JaM art! There might even be some T-Shirts for sale.
I rarely do guest strips. However, I will jump at the chance to make one for someone like Brian Carroll, the man behind Genrezvous Point and Instant Classic. After all, he’s made some pretty classic guest strips for me.

I am absolutely horrible at telling readers what I am doing, or where I’m going to be appearing. It might be my instinct for paranoia and secrecy, it also might be because I’m extremely lazy. Anyway, time to break that for a bit.
This weekend I will be appearing at Wizard World Chicago. I will have books, some shirts and original art for sale, along with some other stuff. My table will be 3706 and I will be sitting next to my friends Tom Brazelton, Taki Soma, and Joe Dunn.
Mr. Dunn and I will have something very special. We’ll be selling 20 copies of a special edition of A Sudden Outbreak Of Birds which features all of Joe’s guest strips for Joe and Monkey and an alternate cover.
That will probably sell out fast, so get one while you can. For now it’s only available at WWC.

I just saw the fourth movie in the Die Hard franchise. When I saw the preview I thought to myself, “Wow, that movie looks WAY over-the-top.” I was right.
In my opinion, Live Free or Die Hard is the single best action movie ever made.
Has anyone noticed that Nothing Nice To Say is back? Because it is, and it’s awesome.
